I started Modern Mom HQ from the moments when I had to figure things out alone. At nineteen, with a two-month-old baby, I asked my daughter's father to move out and found myself raising a child while still becoming an adult myself. With family out of state and no one to call, I handled court proceedings, housing decisions and constant uncertainty without the money for professional help.

The same pattern appeared years later when I started my own business and could not afford an attorney, so I wrote my own contracts. It appeared again during my son's first IEP meeting after a dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD diagnosis, where I had to learn an unfamiliar language while advocating for him in real time.

Those experiences taught me that being capable is not the same as having support. I am proud of the resourcefulness I built, but I do not believe any woman should have to start from nothing when she is scared, tired or facing a decision she barely understands.

That is the purpose behind Modern Mom HQ: a practical place for mothers to begin, with AI as a thought partner rather than a replacement for human care. The prompts, systems and training are designed to help a woman ask better questions, understand her options and know when to reach out to a qualified professional.
